Turkish fest to host ‘Until Tomorrow’

Iranian feature film ‘Until Tomorrow’ is to compete at the 2022 Istanbul Film Festival in Turkey.

Iranian feature film ‘Until Tomorrow’ has been selected to compete at the 41st edition of the Istanbul Film Festival in Turkey.

Produced by filmmaker/actress Niki Karimi and directed by Ali Asgari, the Iranian-French-Qatari movie ‘Until Tomorrow’ is about a student who has a secret and is trying to hide it from her family.

Fereshteh has to hide a secret "from her parents who turn up for a surprise visit. Her friend Atefeh helps her. They embark on an odyssey through Tehran during which they must carefully weigh up who their allies are,” a synopsis for the film reads.

The movie has previously participated in several international film festivals including the 72nd Berlin International Film Festival in Germany and the 41st International Istanbul Film Festival in Turkey.

Istanbul Film Festival is organized by the non-profit cultural institution Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (IKSV).

The festival aims to promote and support artistic and cultural productions.

The upcoming edition of the event will be held on April 8-19.
